In Tee Ball, the goal is to teach baseball fundamentals while having fun with the focus on hitting, fielding, throwing and catching. No live pitching is permitted in this division and players hit off a tee.

6 Year Old Baseball - Coach Pitch

In Coach Pitch (Adv) Tee Ball, the focus is on development of baseball fundamental skills and teamwork in preparation for the Machine Pitch division in the following year. Players hit overhand balls thrown by a coach. If a player misses 3 coach pitched balls, then the player will hit from a tee.

7 & 8 Year Old Baseball - Machine Pitch

The machine pitch division exclusively uses the Louisville Slugger Ultimate Pitching Machine. Managers are required to give even playing time to each child with significant time in both infield and outfield. Little experience is required, and the goal is to teach baseball fundamentals while having fun.
A 7 year old who have never played before are encouraged to spend a season in coach pitch learning fundamentals. This can be added in the “Request” field when registering.

Playup requests are viewed for 8 year old means you are requesting to play Minors kid pitch. In almost all cases, 7 year old would not be allowed to play up to Minors.

9 & 10 Year Old Baseball - Minors

The Minors divisions are designed for players to further develop skills associated with player pitch. The goal is to continue teaching basic baseball fundamentals while having fun.
Minors AA / AAA will be considered this year based on registration numbers and we’ll make determination for the structure of Minors based on registration numbers

If there is a AAA division then a 9 year old requesting to play is requesting to play in AAA, however if there is no AA/AAA division formed, then 9 year old will not be allowed to play up. A 10 year old requesting to play up is requesting to play in Majors Division.

11 & 12 Year Old Baseball - Majors

Playup requests are viewed for 11 year old means you are requesting to play Intermediate (50/70) Division. A 12 year old will have the option to register is either Intermediate or Major division so no play up option is considered as you can register where you want to play.

12 & 13 Year Old Intermediate (50/70)

The Intermediate (50/70) division represents big league rules with a smaller dimension field. It provides a stepping stone for those 13 year old players who are not ready for the “big” field (60’ pitching distance/90’ bases) and provides 12 year old players an opportunity for an easier transition from the Major division field (46’ pitching/60’ bases) before moving on to the “big” field. The focus is on fun and enhancing fundamental skills.
It should be noted that a player that plays Intermediate Baseball is still eligible to be selected to a Majors D5 All Team, but and 11 Year Old that plays up would not be able to play on an 11 Year Old D5 All Star Team.

There will be play up option considered for players registered in Intermediate baseball because 12 year olds will not be permitted to play Juniors and 13 year old can register in the Junior Division.

13 & 14 Year Old Baseball - Juniors

The Junior Division represents the first year on the big field (60’ pitching / 90’ bases) and plays with big league rules and full size fields. Traditionally this division will be an interleague division and you will travel to play at other Little Leagues in District 5.

15 & 16 Year Old Baseball - Seniors

The Senior Division represents the last years in Little League and play on the big field (60’ pitching / 90’ bases) and plays with big league rules and full size fields. Traditionally this division will be an interleague division and you will travel to play at other Little Leagues in District 5.
