HLL All Star Process
- Mid-April - Manager interest for District 5 (D5) & Invitational teams will be gathered for each Division. Any manager or rostered coach is eligible to be coach of a District 5 All-Star team or Invitational team for their respective age league level.
Managers will also begin submitting all All-Star nominations to the HLL All-Star Committee. Candidate nominations should be noted for D5 or invitational selection.
- End-April - Manager interviews are conducted by the HLL All-Star Committee. Once all interviews have been held, the All-Star committee will present their nominations to the board to be voted on. Managers for all District teams are then finalized.
- May - Managers are provided comprehensive list of all nominated players within their division. It is the selected Manager’s decision on whether he/she decides to hold a try-out. Tryouts are NOT required.
- May - Parents/Guardians are contacted regarding availability/interest of their child. Tournament team players should be committed to all scheduled practices and all games for the duration of the tournament; unless sickness or injury occurs.
- Mid-May - Rosters are approved by HLL Board vote.
***D5 players cannot be rostered on multiple D5 teams***
***Invitational players cannot be rostered on multiple Invitational teams***
- End-May - Finalized D5 Rosters are announced and the team may begin practice once every team in that division has met the required 12 games and players have meet the minimum of 8 games played (Guest play games do not count).
- Early June - All Invitational Teams will be finalized. Manager and player selection process mirrors the process carried out when putting together the D5 teams.
***District 5 Rosters (Manager & Player selection) are finalized prior to moving forward with Invitational teams***
