League Ages 7-8
The 7 & 8 Year Old Coach Pitch division of softball has the pitch delivered by an approved HLL coach on the roster. Batters will be allowed three swinging strikes or 5 total pitches from the coach delivering the pitch. Should the batter hit a foul ball on the 5th (or more) pitch, the at-bat will continue.
The goal of this division is to have fun and continue learning how to play the game while developing the proper fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding. There will also be more advanced concepts taught such as defensive rotations and game strategy.
Please check the Softball League Age Chart to confirm player's "league age".
