12 &13 year old (50/70) Baseball

League Ages 11-13

The Intermediate (50/70) division represents big league rules with a smaller dimension field. It provides a stepping stone for those 13 year old players who are not ready for the “big” field (60’ pitching distance/90’ bases) and provides 12 year old players an opportunity for an easier transition from the Major division field (46’ pitching/60’ bases) before moving on to the “big” field.  The focus is on fun and enhancing fundamental skills.  In this division baserunners may lead and steal bases off the pitchers. Pitchers also get the opportunity to learn how to hold baserunners and make pick off throws.
